Peace

Peace is a powerful and confronting artwork in which Benjamin Netanyahu and a Palestinian voice face each other. Two faces, two worlds, and an image that raises questions about conflict, power, humanity, and the search for peace.

The symbolic curtain conceals part of reality and reinforces the sense of distance and division. The visual language is partly inspired by the distinctive style of Banksy, in which recognisable figures and social symbolism come together in a direct and thought-provoking way.

The title Peace almost stands in contrast to the image itself. What does peace mean when two worlds stand opposite each other? The artwork deliberately leaves the interpretation to the viewer.
